a wooded meadow
teems with life
hid behind
grand maple sentries
shaded pastures lay
arch upward
on the mend
shorn not long ago
this intrepid one
stumbles upon
secrets hid
within the covert
tender unveiling
curious
floral folds
smile satisfied
a wooded meadow
hums and breathes
glad with sigh
nods and bows to' night
